Journey into Consciousness with Larry Flaxman

I remember, even as far back as when I was a child, wondering exactly what my purpose is in this life. I asked the questions we all ask – Who am I? Why am I here? What am I supposed to be doing? Is this all there is? What’s next?   

In this series of articles, I am asking my friends and colleagues these same questions.
Larry’s response to these questions:

1. Who are you? 
My birth name is Laurence William Flaxman; however, names don’t adequately address WHO someone is. I would say I am a kind, loving, spiritual, enthusiastic and perpetually energetic guy that loves helping others to realize their own potential or to help answer their questions (both internal and external) using my own experiences…hopefully saving them from pain, sorry, anger, frustration, etc. Notice how I didn’t say MISTAKES? I believe EVERY experience should be a learning experience. Therefore, nothing is a MISTAKE! Regardless, learn from my experiences and don’t reinvent the wheel! I love people, and to me, every opportunity to interface with another spirit is a learning experience that I truly cherish.

2. Why are you here?  
What a thought provoking question! Why indeed! Over the last few years this very question has been at the forefront of my conscious awareness. As of yet, I do not definitively know “WHY” I am here, but I can’t help but believe that there is some type of divine significance to my “message.” Not so much from the self-proclaimed “guru” angle, but perhaps, I possess an experience or knowledge (perhaps even a latent idea?) that could somehow help to serve my fellow souls – if I can help even ONE, then I have achieved my purpose.

3. What are you supposed to be doing? 
Exactly what I am doing now. I am a strong believer in intuition and “gut feeling” – and what I am doing absolutely “feels right” at this time. I have come to trust these primal instincts and believe that I am on the right path.

4. Do you believe that this is all there is? 
Absolutely not. Over the course of my research (and the writing of 6 books), I am absolutely convinced that “this” is merely a sliver of our overall existence. Remember, the concept of linear time is a man-made construct. In nature, time does not exist. While our lifespan on Earth may seem incredibly long and tedious (to some!), in reality, it is incredibly short. Our time in this world is but a blink of the eye. Cherish the experiences that you gain during this lifetime. As a society, I believe that we have the concept of death completely wrong. To me (and there is scientific evidence to back this up), death is simply a rebirth of sorts – a transfer or change of THIS energy into a new form. Live for the moment and really appreciate and enjoy every ticking second because our next existence will be completely different, and we all have so much to learn before then.

5. What advice do you have for others on their journey into consciousness? 
This is easy. Trust in yourself. Ultimately, you are the creator of your own reality. The kingdom of God is within you (Luke 17:21). Life’s ultimate truth lies within each and every one of us. Have faith in yourself.

Journey into Consciousness with Rev. Fernando Albert

I remember, even as far back as when I was a child, wondering exactly what my purpose is in this life. I asked the questions we all ask – Who am I? Why am I here? What am I supposed to be doing? Is this all there is? What’s next?   

In this series of articles, I am asking my friends and colleagues these same questions.
Fernando’s response to these questions:

1. Who are you? 
I am Rev. Fernando Albert from San Diego, CA. I am a psychic medium and healer. I am also a Starseed, which means that my soul origin is not from this planet Earth.  Being of service for other individuals is my pride, my joy and my purpose in life. I am empathic and very intuitive. I love to travel in Spirit and explore other realms.

2. Why are you here?  
My mission here is to be a clear channel – to guide and heal other human beings and animals. I reincarnated in this dense body to work as a healer and a medium to be of service to others. I am to help people find their way, but always being a clear vessel for Spirit to work through me and send love, Light and healing from the Universe to whomever needs it.

3. What are you supposed to be doing? 
I believe I am supposed to be doing what I am doing. However, I can say I am supposed to do it at a greater level. I am building my spiritual business and right now, even I cannot complain, is far away from my ultimate goal. I was told once by another psychic (and I agree with her) that if I am sitting at home I am putting my gifts to waste. This was a great message from Spirit to encourage me to keep going and to keep developing my business so I can touch more hearts. That is what I am supposed to be doing as much as I can – channeling messages from Spirit, channeling Divine white Light healing energy for whomever needs it as well as tapping into Higher Realms and Higher beings to channel any information that serves of guidance and the Highest purpose.

4. Do you believe that this is all there is? 
Oh no, no way. I have Astral projected in the past, and I still experience these travels up to today. There is much more than the physical dense life we are experiencing. In fact, I sometimes believe that physical life as we know it is just an illusion and not as real as other planes of existence. I am sure many of you, oneironauts and astral projectionist have experienced other realities that feel more real and vivid than life itself.

As a Channel, I connect with Higher beings such as spirit guides, Archangels and even ET beings. They have provided me amazing information that indeed proves there is way more than our physical eyes can be seen. I could talk for hours about this, I could even write a whole book about it, and I might actually write it one of these days.

5. What advice do you have for others on their journey into consciousness? 
First of all I would say to trust, respect and believe. We all have the ability to tap into Higher Realms of existence and connect with our loved ones, spirit guides and the many amazing beings that live there. I would advise to always listen to your gut feelings as well as the first thoughts that might come to your mind when you are trying to solve your daily life challenges. Many times our loved ones in Spirit and/or our spirit guides pass on this information to us through this channel, so it is important to value the information we receive.

For those who are a few steps ahead, I would advise to never stop learning. I am a working psychic medium and healer, and I still love to be a student for the many teachers out there. There is always much to learn, in both this realm as well as other Higher realms. This would be my second advice – to always be willing to grow and learn more since there is always more to learn.

And last but not least, for those who venture into helping other people this way, I always recommend to set aside you Ego, to know that all this amazing information comes from Higher beings and not from “our brains” so we are just clear vessels that channel this information. And once again, trust, respect and believe.

Journey into Consciousness with Shelly Wilson

I remember, even as far back as when I was a child, wondering exactly what my purpose is in this life. I asked the questions we all ask – Who am I? Why am I here? What am I supposed to be doing? Is this all there is? What’s next?   

In this series of articles, I have asked my friends and colleagues these same questions.
It seems only appropriate that I offer my own responses to these questions as well.

1. Who are you? 
I know that I am a woman, a wife, a mother, a daughter, a sister, a friend – but who am I really? I am all of these and also none of these. The truth of who I really am is that I am a soul in a physical body having a human experience because my soul chose to be incarnated on Earth at this time.

I could go on to describe my physical body with height, weight, eye color and hair color, but these are simply descriptions that will identify me. My likes and dislikes just happen to be my personal preferences. I am a soul having physical, emotional and mental experiences. The experiences I have had are just experiences. They do not define me nor will I allow them to. The memories of these experiences comprise the totality of my life as of this moment. As I continue to live my life, more of these experiences will encapsulate and become a part of my life yet will not define me. I am at the center of my consciousness. I am aware that my perception – through my thoughts, emotions and senses – creates who I am.

2. Why are you here? 
I am here to acknowledge that we are all one – derived from Source energy. We are truly reflections of one another. I believe that I am here to shine my Light on others so that others can see the truth of who they really are while encouraging them to shine their own Lights bright. Through my words and actions, I am meant to heal hearts one by one by one and see people differently than they see themselves. I believe that there are two ways to view everything – through the eyes of love and through the eyes of fear. I choose to view life through the eyes of love and to assist others in doing the same.

3. What are you supposed to be doing? 
As I reflect on my spiritual journey these past few years, my heart overflows with gratitude and joy. I am conscious of being present in this moment on this day, but I am also very excited as to what I see unfolding before my eyes. I see the direction my work is going. I am not controlling the aspects; rather I am allowing myself to be open to the idea of its ever evolving presence. In other words, I am not supposed to be doing anything. I am focused on simply be-ing and allowing myself to open to the flow and the realm of possibilities than anything and everything is possible. All we have to do is simply believe.

4. Do you believe that this is all there is? 
I distinctly remember analyzing as a child how I could be alive. I am breathing. My heart is beating and blood is flowing through my veins. How is all of this even possible?

I acknowledge that our reality is created by our thoughts, words and actions. If we desire something different, we are the ones who change and then allow the change to occur rather than resisting or inhibiting it. I am Shelly for this incarnation; yet my soul will continue once I cease to breathe.

The Spirit realm, also known as the Other Side, is literally right here all around us. Our loved ones no longer have a physical body and are vibrating at a higher frequency than the earthly plane.

5. What advice do you have for others on their journey into consciousness? 
Be present in this moment, right here right now. The past is in the past and cannot be changed. The future is yet to exist. All you have is this moment.

Allow yourself the opportunity to recognize that you are a spiritual being having a human life experience. These experiences may involve challenges as well as triumphs. Nonetheless, they are opportunities for learning and growth.

Choose to communicate your needs and desires to yourself and to others. This is your reality. You’ve got one “shot” during this lifetime as YOU. Enjoy it and have no regrets. In addition, make sure you tell everyone exactly how you feel. Leave no words unspoken.

Finally, know that you are having your own human life experience. Do not compare your journey to another’s journey nor try to control someone else’s journey. Honor yourself and what you are feeling at all times. Don’t be afraid to ask for help and remember to love yourself always and in all ways.

Journey into Consciousness with Aimee Chaouch

I remember, even as far back as when I was a child, wondering exactly what my purpose is in this life. I asked the questions we all ask – Who am I? Why am I here? What am I supposed to be doing? Is this all there is? What’s next?   

In this series of articles, I am asking my friends and colleagues these same questions.
Aimee’s response to these questions:

1. Who are you? 
When I was a child, I used to ask myself this question all the time.  “Who am I?”  And I never could come up with a very good answer because I never could decide exactly who I was in that moment. And if I did decide, then what if I changed my mind five minutes later? Would I have lied to you about who I was? Could it be considered a lie if it was truth in the moment I gave my answer, even if it were not truth now? Deep thoughts for a 7-year-old.

Eventually, I came up with the only answer that seemed to fit: I am change. Quite literally, I am changing – I grow older, my hair gets a few more greys and those laugh lines don’t disappear like they used to.  But beyond physical change, I am constantly changing mentally, emotionally, and spiritually.  And I like it that way – it reminds me that I’m human, and I’m here to experience all this life has to offer.  Change is good – it keeps us on our toes, keeps our minds and bodies active. And so, I embrace who I am…I am change. Of course…I reserve the right to change my mind later…

2. Why are you here?  
I’ve always believed that my purpose – that all our purposes – is to learn and experience as much as we can in this lifetime.  I may naturally have certain skills or interests that lead me down one path over another. I figure that’s because the lessons I need to learn – or the lessons I need to teach – lie down that path.

3. What are you supposed to be doing? 
I believe that mine is a message of love, and my job is to deliver that message to those who need it.  As a medium, I connect people to their deceased loved ones – it’s what I do. It’s what I must do.  And the reason is so that I can deliver to my clients the messages of love that they seek from those who have passed.  I’ve learned through my readings that when our time is up, the only thing that remains is love – and that never goes away.  So I’ve made it my duty to spread the message of love – and to share my love – to anyone and everyone who will accept it.  Love comes in so many forms – it’s a smile as you pass a stranger on the street, it’s giving up your seat on the train so someone else can rest, it’s hugging your child, your friends, your spouse, your family – it’s passion, it’s romance, it’s love. And I know I’ve got it in spades, so it only makes sense that I share it with those who will accept it!

4. Do you believe that this is all there is? 
Definitely not!  I’ve seen way too much of the afterlife to know that there is so much more than the here and now. I believe in reincarnation and past lives.  I have far too many past-life memories to believe otherwise!  And if I’m wrong about there being more, well that’s alright – because my belief gives me something to look forward to, and makes this journey of life that much more exciting!

5. What advice do you have for others on their journey into consciousness?
Seek information from as many sources as possible – even those you’d least expect.  No one person or school of thought is right about everything – but combined, you will start to find your own truth. The universe is constantly working to get our attention, so be aware of all the different ways this can be done.  Take in what you learn, and decide for yourself what your own truth is – then own it!
